- Base Salary $97K + 17% superannuation
About the opportunity
the Project Coordinator will develop, implement, and manage widening participation and outreach projects, primarily events, for high-school students from a range of backgrounds
the Project Coordinator will be responsible for providing high-level project management across multiple projects, including establishing project teams, developing, and implementing plans with contingencies, conducting risk management, creating training, and delivering educational and outreach models, managing project budgets, and preparing evaluation reports.
Working within an established events and projects team, the Project Coordinator will follow established project processes and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver successful events and projects.
Due to the nature of the seasonality of workflow there will be a need to work flexibly throughout the year and there may be leave restrictions applied during peak periods.
- previous experience managing large scale, complex events including risk and contingency planning
- a creative, audience-centric mindset, able to tailor experiences or content to meet the needs of your audience
- experience in an education setting working with underrepresented cohorts
- well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
- can demonstrate an understanding of the project lifecycle whilst sustaining a high level of planning and project management
- ability to meet strict deadlines with attention to detail and adherence to budget.
