Many companies are seduced each year by the formula and fond of young people wishing to learn a trade. And with the health crisis, the apprenticeship contract is breaking records, in particular thanks to the implementation of the government bonus of 5,000 or 8,000 euros per apprentice recruited (available until June 30, 2022). More than 700,000 apprenticeship contracts were signed in 2021, in the private and public sector. And contrary to popular belief, these are the VSEs that recruit the most apprentices : 462,625 apprenticeship contracts signed in 2021, compared to 102,833 for companies with more than 1,000 employees.
For young people, this device allows them to develop their operational, their employability and adaptability. The work-study program also represents a significant advantage for find a job faster. Thousands of contracts offered in all sectors
If crafts, industry, catering were among the first to develop work-study programs, today the formula appeals to all sectors. Commercial profiles are also highly sought after, particularly by companies in the banking and insurance sector. 2,000 work-study students are thus expected each year within BNP Paribas. LCL is recruiting 500. For 2022, The post office plans to sign nearly 4,500 work-study contracts in a wide variety of professions from CAP to Bac+5 level: sales, support functions, distribution, logistics, digital/IT, etc. In Brittany, the Agricultural credit offers 370 work-study positions. More than 1,300 work-study students are sought by AXA in France. The MAIF plans to recruit just over 300 work-study students in 2022, including 183 in the network and 125 at headquarters. Groupama trains some 700 work-study students per year. 250 work-study students join each year AG2R La Mondiale. Macif welcomes 200. For the start of the school year in September 2022, theMMA insurer recruits nearly 40 work-study students from Bac+2 to Bac+5 level. Swiss Life France is looking for 100 work-study students, particularly within its support and business functions. Every year the Credit Agricole Real Estate trains 50 work-study students in France.
In the audit-consulting sector, KPMG intends to welcome 450 work-study students. the Mazars office is recruiting 480 interns and work-study students for the 2021/2022 fiscal year. A third of the recruitments of PwC concerns trainees and work-study trainees. Deloitte will welcome a total of 600 interns and work-study students in 2022. The digital services company Sopra Steria offers 500 work-study contracts. In telecoms and digital, Orange trains around 5,000 young people in digital professions every year. The BtoB telecom operator Paritel recruits work-study students in all of its businesses: networks and telecoms, webmarketing, communication, HR, etc. Verisure (connected alarm) intends to hire 200 apprentices in sales, customer relations (technician or account manager) and support (HR, marketing, finance, legal, purchasing, technology, etc.) functions.
In the energy sector, EDF welcomes more than 4,000 young people on work-study programs. Its subsidiary Enedis recruits 1,200 young people on work-study programs, from CAP to Bac+5. No less than 300 work-study students join, each year, TENa subsidiary of EDF, for all of its businesses. ENGIE Home Servicesa subsidiary of the energy company ENGIE specializing in the installation, maintenance and repair of heating and air conditioning systems, is offering 300 work-study programs for the start of the 2022 academic year, mainly for gas, heat pump and air conditioning maintenance technician positions. and renewable energies, but also customer advisors in branches. GRDF offers 500 contracts. GRTgaz will train 130 new work-study students in 2022.
In distribution, Crossroads offers an average of 5,000 contracts per year, from CAP to Bac+5in its various professions: sales, management, maintenance, catering or cashier professions, logistics, marketing, finance, digital… The Movement E.Leclerc offers 1,000 apprenticeship or professionalization contracts, from CAP to master’s. Decathlon recruits a thousand work-study students. For its part, the fashion brand Gemo is looking for around a hundred work-study trainees for its network of stores, its logistics and its head office. Castorama and Brico Depot recruit 750 young people on work-study programs, from infra-Bac to Bac+5, for positions in logistics, sales, digital or human resources. The non-food discounter Stock offers about a hundred apprenticeship contracts to be filled in all of its points of sale located in France.

Work-study contracts for all levels of study

The fast food brand aims to recruit more than 3,500 work-study students by 2024. In tourism, the Club Med also recruits on a work-study basis, with training leading to a diploma or qualification and a job within the company at the end of the course. Disneyland Paris also offers hundreds of contracts to hotel schools, BTS, universities and business and engineering schools.

Other companies, from various backgrounds, also welcome many work-study students. Nestle plans to welcome 700 interns and work-study students per year until 2025. Its subsidiary Nespresso France recruits 70 customer advisors on a work-study basis each year. the Bel Group (La Vache qui rit, Kiri, Mini Babybel, Leerdammer, Boursin) offers work-study contracts in various professions: marketing, sales, communication, legal, engineering, supply chain, industrial performance, purchasing, R&D, finance, management control , human resources, information systems. Mondelēz International offers, in France, a hundred internship or work-study assignments.
Naval Group is looking, in 2022, for 500 new work-study students for its 10 sites located in Angoulême-Ruelle, Brest, Cherbourg, Lorient, Nantes, Nantes-Indret, Ollioules, Paris, Toulon and Saint-Tropez. the VINCI groupspecializing in concessions, construction and energy, signs more than 2,000 work-study contracts each year. Thales recruits more than 1,800 a year. The group Kuehne + Nagel, specializing in logistics and supply chain management, welcomes nearly 250 young people on work-study programs each year. The company DHL Express also recruits approximately 50 new apprenticeship contracts and professionalization contracts per year, in trades, logistics, HR, finance, communication and marketing. The LVMH Institute of Professions of Excellence offers, in partnership with professional schools recognized in their respective disciplines, apprenticeship training leading to qualifications and certification in the crafts, creation and sales professions. The French laboratory Sanofi is looking for 1,600 work-study students for the start of the 2022 school year. SGS France is recruiting 60 work-study contracts by the end of June 2022.
